Current Movie Production Update… A Boy in China.

We have started post production and editing for our latest film, titled “A Boy in China”. Filmed in multiple locations from at the Shaolin Temple, Wudang Mountain, San Diego and Phoenix – yes, quite a contrast. The story begins in Phoenix, Arizona, when a very hyperactive boy of eight years, decides that he wants to continue his Kungfu practice at the very highest level …. the Shaolin temple. No small decision, as the boy and his father move to the Tagou Kungfu school adjacent to the Shaolin Temple. The boy’s mother has to be left behind in America to handle work and business. It is a situation that few families would ever find themselves in … voluntarily. But this is no ordinary family, as the boy’s parents help the young boy try to achieve his goal of becoming a Kungfu star! As the boy’s rise in the martial arts progresses, the obstacles become inceasingly more difficult until he finally arrives at the ‘top gun’ of martial arts in China, the Shichahai sports academy – home to the Beijing Wushu Team and where jet Li spent eight years in practice. This will be the greatest challenge and test young Andre beyond anything he has known before.Release is scheduled for the end of the year.
