Most of the city of Kathmandu has been affected with hundreds of its citizens perished and some of the landmark Buddhist monuments gone. I remember a city that was incredible to walk around and meet the kind people. It has some of the most beautiful squares dating back 2,000 years ago… these now lay in ruins and many people are living in makeshift shelters and the lucky ones are in tents.
