Shaolin Kung Fu in the Pagoda Forest
Shaolin Warrior Monk Gao Xiang performs the Tiger Form Kung Fu in the Pagoda Forest at the Shaolin Temple. This dynamic form is intense and powerful like the tiger. The hands are open like a claw ready to scratch or thrust a finger into a sensitive point like the eyes. In a strike you use the heel of the palm and the open hand is ready to grab an opponent and throw them. It is a multi-tool when compared to a normel fist.
Pagoda Forest at Shaolin Temple is the main cemetery for Buddhist monks at the Shaolin Temple underneath Mount Song. Consisting of about 250 memorial pagodas beneath or in which the ashes of the deceased were placed. The cemetery covers about over 5 acres and is located close by the Shaolin Temple. The tombs are generally well kept and although visitors can walk freely among many of the tombs most of the large scared tombs are in a protected location.
